Jonas Pate lines up crime drama cast

Jack Huston, Emmy Rossum and Nasir "Nas" Johnson will topline indie crime drama "Way Lower South" with Jonas Pate pointing. Project was introduced Wednesday in the opening day's the American Film Market. Shooting's set to begin early in the year in New Orleans. Pate's pointing from the script he authored together with his twin brother Josh Pate ("The Take"). The film informs the storyline of the gambler and small-time crook, performed by Huston, who steals a Civil War-era sword from the museum to invest in his avoid financing shark who secured him inside a losing poker game. Johnson continues to be cast because the closest friend and Rossum will have the first kind love interest. New bands singer Hank Williams III has additionally been cast. Braxton Pope will produce with Eric Fischer and Brianna Lee Manley of Efish Entertainment. Tom Reilly of Efish will professional produce. Pope told Variety that producers are wishing to sign the Black Secrets to attain "Way Lower South." Pope is because of produce the feature "Bait" from the script by Bret Easton Ellis to become directed by Paul Schrader, set to shoot in Puerto Rico.
