John Lithgow will get into 'Dog Fight'

After coping with highly intelligent primates in "Rise from the Planet from the Apes," John Lithgow is shifting to highly unintelligent political figures within the cast of Warner Bros. "Dog Fight." Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis star as two rival political figures running for any congressional chair in a tiny New York district election. Jay Roach ("Austin Forces," "Satisfy the Fockers") is helming with Jason Sudeikis, Dylan McDermott, Sarah Baker and Katherine LaNasa also set to co-star. Chris Henchy authored the script with Shawn Harwell. Ferrell and Adam McKay are creating through Gary Sanchez Prods. together with Roach via his Everyman Pictures banner. Galifianakis will even produce. Lithgow, repped by WME, is visible next within the untitled Judd Apatow comedy and it is presently on the book tour for his autobiography.
